Imagine calling SickKids home for holidays or special occasions? More than 250 children and their families do each year. Though SickKids works hard to make the holidays special for children, they also make it special for kids ALL year round.

Support Toronto Military Family Resource Centre
The military community established the Toronto Military Family Resource Centre (TMFRC) in 1992 to foster the unique strength of families
within the military. It is a non-profit, volunteer-led and supported organization. In 1996, the TMFRC offered full-time child care
through its Children’s Playgarden child care centre - a much-needed service for military families.
The Centre not only supports CF families when one of the family members is away for long periods, it supports them on their return or reunion in:
- Personal development & community integration
- Volunteer development and involvement
- Deployment support
- Reunion support
- Support services
- Children, youth and parenting support programs
Imagine raising your family when only one of you was around and the stress alone of wondering about the other’s return never mind raising the family alone. Imagine being a parent or a sibling and wondering about the welfare of your loved one. TMFRC provides invaluable support for families and relies only partly on military and government support. Fundraising and civilian donations are a much required portion of the budget.
How to Support Them
1. When you register online, at the bottom of the application you can make a donation for either SickKids or TMFRC (you'll get a tax receipt... 100% of this donation goes to your charity of choice)
